Prior experience as an optician or working for an eyecare clinic preferred.

Job responsibilities include:

• Gathering patient medical history and enter information in EMR
• Cross training on patient work-up for the doctor
• Checking patients in
• Assisting patients with contact lens education
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and workplace
• Eyeglass adjustments, repairs and troubleshooting
• Eyeglass and contact lens sales
• Helping patients select new glasses
• Verifying patient insurance benefits and explaining them to patients

Schedule is 40 hours a week Monday-Friday-- No Weekends!

Salary is dependent on experience! We offer a generous $400 monthly bonus to cover health care costs and paid time off of 3 weeks to start, following probationary period. We also offer staff a 401(k) retirement option with matching!
