EnviroStaff is recruiting a PFAS focused chemist for an Environmental Testing laboratory based in Fort Wayne, IN. As a PFAS Chemist, you would be tasked with preparing and analyzing Environmental samples using standardized EPA methodology while in compliance with the laboratories QA program and SOPs. Ideal candidates would have experience GC-MS, LC-MS, Wet Chemistry and High-Resolution Preparation and Analysis. Other responsibilities would include evaluating and quantification of data, recording and reporting data, routine instrument maintenance, and working with complex instrument specific software. This would be a great opportunity for a skilled chemist to join a growing PFAS department in an established Environmental laboratory setting.

Requirements:

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field. 3 -5 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree
• EPA method D1633, 537.1 or 533 experiences would be REQUIRED
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)
• Complete work within time and quality constraints
• Team participation and meeting management skills
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrate good problem solving skills
• Work independently following written or verbal instructions
• Cooperate and coordinate both orally and in writing
• Reading, writing and speaking skills
• Follow and learn appropriate protocols in one or more of the following disciplines’/GC-MS/LC-MS/Wet Chemistry/High Resolution Preparation and Analysis

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
