Environmental Resources Management Southwest, Inc. is Hiring a Managing Consultant Safety, Technical Risk (Mid Senior Level) Near Austin, TX

ERM is seeking an experienced full-time Managing Consultant Safety Technical Risk,, with significant consulting experience and private-sector client relationships, to play a key role in growing our Technical Risk Safety service area in Austin, TX and the Gulf region. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level professional with Tech experience looking to advance their career to the next level with a global Safety & Risk leader. As a senior leader, you will be fully accountable for successfully selling and consulting on a range of EHS compliance projects to build a sustainable business locally, while networking with ERM's global Safety & Risk technical team to share best practices across the industry. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement strategic business/action plan, provide leadership, and deliver performance results to expand ERM's Safety & Risk client base in the Gulf region with a Tech focus. Serve as a key member of the “core” technical team to drive double-digit profitable growth across the safety service line. As a senior “seller/doer,” personally win new safety services annually. Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective proposals, and take active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients. Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business. Develop and manage strategic safety auditing, compliance and management opportunities for a variety of industrial clients with complex technical/regulatory issues. Design and direct large programs/projects and multi-person project teams. Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Lead, manage performance, retain, inspire and mentor personnel for overall success of technical team. Develop a working understanding of ERM’s other consulting service areas and actively support cross selling these services to existing clients. Support the general growth and development of ERM’s international Safety & Risk service area. Coordinate with ERM offices in the US, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America regions. REQUIREMENTS: BS/MS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, civil, petroleum), or related degree. 15 years relevant consulting/industry experience in working in safety services. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies in Safety & Risk. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and book personal sales in new safety consulting services. Recognized technical expertise by and established reputation in the local marketplace. Certification in field; PE, CSP, or similar registration highly desirable.
