Our Industry and the customers we serve maintain everything from the clean drinking water you receive from the faucet in your home, to the wastewater and sewer pipes that encompass every city. • Qualifications and Skills:

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

· Ability to use mathematics to solve problems

· Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

· Good communication skills

· Performs physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of material

· Train and assist employees as your skill permit

· Must be able to submit a clean background check and drug screen

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds or 1/3 of your body weight.
• Able to wear required PPE.
• Able to bend and twist repetitively.

Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his job function.

• Operate Forklift on a daily basis
• Identifies material by part number and product finish required for a sales order.
• Loads and unloads heavy materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves and machinery by hand.
• Verifies all measurements for accuracy and quality.
• Utilizes fabrication tools such as—Band Saw, Lathe, Drill Press, Grinder and small hand tools.
• Familiar with hardware terminology used by other companies and suppliers for our market

• Knowledge and ability to follow the material issue and scrap process.

• Cleans and organize work area, tools, and equipment. ·
• Performs quality inspections and reports errors.
• Complete checklists, reports, and logs as needed. Demonstrates the ability to research, analyze, and determine root cause of assembly /fabrication problems. Implement solutions and monitor results.
• Arrive at/leave work as scheduled by the Warehouse Supervisor

• Must be open to constructive feedback and have a desire to grow and develop with the organization

• All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
