Looking for a Driven / Motivated Safety Professional
We at Environmental, Health & Safety Solutions, Inc. (EHSS) currently have an opportunity to expand our team of Safety Professionals.
We are looking to support our Client / Partner with a full-time Safety Professional / Leader who is seeking a personal and professional challenge and wants to grow within our company.
This position in located in Pittsburgh, PA. Potential candidates must be located in the surrounding region or willing to relocate to the area.
Day to day support entails travel to Pittsburgh, PA, as well as offices and job locations in and around PA. Flexibility to travel anytime, anyplace, anywhere, and under short notice is required to fully support our team.

EHSS is located in Industry, Pennsylvania & provides safety & operational solutions to our partners nationwide. Our partners include Owners, Construction Management Companies, General Contractors, Specialty Contractors, &Associations that serve a wide range of industries, including Coal, Gas & Nuclear Power Generation, Steel, Chemical, Manufacturing and Oil & Gas.
EHSS’s team of safety professionals who represent & serve our partners focus on driving and / or establishing our clients safety vision & culture, while providing leadership & direction to support a workplace that encourages observation, advising, coaching & corrective actions.
We deliver quality & timely subject matter expertise & business support to ensure that a safe, sustainable, efficient, & legally compliant work environment is established & maintained at all times.
Minimum 3-5 years experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management preferred or equivalent experience with OSHA 510 and / or 500 Construction Courses
OSHA 10-hour, OSHA 30-hour Certifications (Construction preferred) as well as basic knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry and OSHA 1926 Construction Standards
Any additional certifications are a plus
Provide safety services including; orientation, training, jobsite inspections, assistance with incident investigations and the injury management process as needed or requested by clients
Participate in the development / delivery of toolbox talks and hold safety meetings as needed or requested by clients
Provide an in-field safety presence while demonstrating and effectively communicating the safety expectations of the owner / contractor as well as ensure employee compliance with all federal, state, local, and site-specific safety regulations.
Personality and communication must be top notch!
This position is a full-time position with EHSS assisting one of our clients.
