We are looking for a highlycapable medical transcriptionist to transcribe voice recordings ofmedical consultations and procedures.
In this role you will beresponsible for transcribing audio files editing speech recognitiontranscripts and formatting transcription reports.
You may also berequired to enter medical reports into electronic health recordsystems.
To ensuresuccess medical transcriptionists should demonstrate extensiveexperience in medical transcription and indepth familiarity withmedical terminology.
Outstanding candidates exhibit advancedproficiency in transcribing with specialized equipment and areextremelydetailoriented.
Requirements :
Listeningto the recorded dictation of physicians and other healthcareprofessionals.
Using specialized transcriptionequipment such as headsets and footpedals.
Converting transcribed diagnostic testresults procedures and consultation notes into applicable reportformats.
Ensuring uncompromised patient care bytranscribing fast and accurately as well as performing thoroughediting.
Typing out the full forms of medicalabbreviations and acronyms as well as the formal versions ofmedical jargon.
Identifying and following up oninconsistencies errors and missing information within a transcribedreport.
Submitting transcriptions to healthcareprofessionals for their approval in a timelymanner.
Performing additional tasks such asfollowing up and revising patient history as well as enteringmedical reports into electronic health recordssystems.
Protecting patient confidentiality andadhering to legalrequirements.
