About the Job:
Guardian Staffing Solutions, LLC is currently hiring full-time general laborers to perform industrial cleaning activities inside of power generation facilities located in Fairfield, OH. An employee is responsible for his/her own transportation to local worksites. Reliable transportation is an essential requirement of this position due to the location and schedule of work activities-bus line is not within proximity of the work activities and is not a reliable form of transportation that will allow you to meet the schedule and location requirements of this position. The individual in this role will be required to provide labor assistance with company equipment and or other areas as directed by management. Primary job function will include but is not limited to industrial cleaning.
Position Title: General Laborer/Industrial Cleaner.
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00am - 4:00pm).
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.
Requirements:

Must past pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check.
Must have own transportation.

Job Description:

Individuals will employ vacuum trucks, sweepers, and high PSI power washers to clean materials such as ore, coal, bricks, fly ash, coke, shot, cement, slag, etc.
Display an understanding of general labor ability.
Enter confined spaces, basements, tanks, roof areas to perform work duties.
Assist and set up of vacuum loader and/or other equipment.
Assist team in achieving project goals.
Will wear a respirator.
On The Job Training will be provided.

Non-negotiable Requirement for Applicants:

Participate in the background, substance abuse screening program and submit to company paid OSHA questionnaire, respiratory physical and pulmonary function test.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work on an on-call basis. Day shift or night shift availability.
Candidates must be physically capable of performing job functions which may include extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and heights exceeding 15ft.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
If selected, candidates must attend a 1.5-hour orientation located at the Guardian Staffing office and an 8 hour (paid) first shift training session for approximately 3-6 days at a C&K facility.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
