Duties:
- Direct traffic at construction sites or other locations as assigned
- Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and signs
- Communicate with coworkers and drivers to ensure safe traffic flow
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to traffic control
Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively direct traffic and interact with drivers
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in setting up traffic control devices
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and withstand outdoor weather conditions
