Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Pipe Superintendent for our manufacturing shop in Browns Summit, NC. In this role you will lead a team of pipe welders, pipe fitters, and pipe helpers in the prefabrication of industrial HVAC piping systems. Benefits: Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance 401(k) with generous company match Free Basic Life Insurance Short & Long-Term Disability Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary Location: 5955 Summit Ave, Summit Ave, Browns Summit, NC 27214 Responsibilities: Oversee the prefabrication of industrial piping systems including chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water Prioritize safety and ensure the team completes audits and all safety requirements Manage project schedules Collaborate with sales to verify scopes and provide project estimates Regularly communicate with project manager and clients Maintain tool inspection reports Review submittals, installation, and operation manuals Write daily reports and correspondence Interview and hire new employees to join the pipe department Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervision Familiarity with flowline manufacturing Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods Excellent time management skills and problem solving abilities Ability to work both independently and as a team Ability to read blueprints and schematics Strong Interpersonal skills for coordinating projects Fluency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software Education Requirements: Minimum of a high school education or equivalent Trade School completion preferred Job Requirements/Special Skills: Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
