Job Description The Supervisor is responsible for planning and supervision of immunoassay manufacturing to assure the departments are running smoothly while ensuring quality products. Supervision of ELISA, Lateral Flow Strip (LFD), and Rare Reagent production including, equipment, quality and inventory control. Responsibilities Include: Follow established safe work practices and work in a safe manner. Follow EnviroLogix safety policies and procedures for reporting any unsafe or hazardous condition to their supervisor or the Environmental, Health, and Safety department for corrective action. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standard work. Draft and review new and revised SOPs. Record accurate material usage and inventory transactions for material. Use common laboratory equipment, including pH meters, balances, and spectrophotometers. Qualify raw materials and reagents. Prepare buffers, critical reagents, and kit components. Titrate antibodies determine optimal concentration. Synthesize gold nanoparticles. Execute conjugation procedure. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production and equipment issues. Partner with cross-functional teams on critical business objectives. Work closely with production and R&D to facilitate product transfer, including review of documentation, pilot production, and scale up. Meticulous and timely completion of quality system documentation. Work on continuous improvement projects; individually and as a part of a team. Conduct newly transferred or troubleshooted conjugation protocols in tandem with R&D/QAQC. Conduct cell culture techniques to build antibody raw material. *Number of personnel performing cell culture will be capped due to limited lab space Provide background and data to supplement NCRs or to assist QC Monitor inventory levels of reagents to provide job and material assignments for operators. Oversee weekly inventory cycle counts through delegation. Maintain updated visual management for associated areas. Develop self and team through EBOS (Ensign Bickford Operating System) tools by fostering coaching, training, and professional development. Lead the group in a way that inspires individuals to take initiative and to be creative to meet defined project goals. Communicate effectively, work collaboratively within team to coordinate daily scheduling. Cooperate with and support coworkers, answering questions and troubleshooting. Skills Required: Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for quality Self-motivated, execution oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence outcomes Positive work ethic and passionate attitude Proven ability to work well in team environment with sound negotiation and problem-solving skills Strives to achieve all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Work approach is compliant with EBOS (Ensign Bickford Operating System) of continuous improvement and mutual respect for coworkers.
