Job Summary:

The Quantitative Research Intern will join a dynamic team, with an ample flexibility in project selection and an ability to participate in a wide variety of tasks. Our group implements projects in the fields of quantitative wealth management advice as well as quantitative asset management. Since our methodologies are constantly being developed and improved, and since we are expanding into new asset classes (e.g., fixed income and options), candidates can expect to be part of diverse list of projects.

We are looking for a candidate who would be open to a longer-term internship (i.e., the summer and part-time during the Winter semester). If we and a candidate end up developing a good working relationship, there is an opportunity to transition into a full-time role with our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use time-series/cross-sectional econometrics/statistics (e.g., GLS, Vector AR, Bayesian regressions/MCMC, bootstrapping, quantile regressions, and alike), optimization (e.g., constrained mixed-integer quadratic programming, linearized Conditional VaR objective functions, and alike), and applied finance techniques to carry out our projects
• Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing Master’s Degree or PhD.
• Well-versed in Python, MATLAB, and SQL
