*Remote with travel to New York and/or New England required* What You’ll Do: Detailed engineering design and project management of transmission (69kV - 500kV), sub-transmission (23kV- 34.5kV) and distribution line projects Engage in various projects including entire new facilities, major additions, rehabilitation, replacement, clearance and lightning improvements, and reconductoring of existing underground lines Determines and documents project estimate, scope and schedule; sets and evaluates design options and criteria for technical merit; conducts field visits, verifies and inspects electrical line assets, equipment parameters and identifies applicable codes and system specification requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university Professional Engineer license 15 years’ experience relative to underground transmission line, sub-transmission, and distribution engineering within the utilities industry Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience Not quite right for you? Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match.
