What You'll Do

The Project Engineer is responsible for performing engineering design on a variety of engineering tasks both independently and with ongoing supervision. Receives technical guidance on design topics not experienced before and works closely with other senior engineers on typical tasks not familiar to the Project Engineer.

As a Project Engineer, a typical day may include the following:

• Participate in telecom-based projects including applications project oversight and permitting
• Interacts independently with clients, estimates proposals, and understands the role of business development in operations goals
• Helps the Design Coordinator evaluate design personnel and assign design related tasks to Designers and Drafters
• Reviews and provides feedback on vendor drawings related to their projects
• Reviews and seals telecommunication, both wireless and wireline, projects for grants and projects developed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline 
• 5 years experience wireline telecom and/or wireline telecom experience with wireless radio frequency expertise
• Professional Engineering License
