We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Insurance Verification Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive insurance verification processes to ensure accurate and timely coverage for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of insurance policies and procedures.

This position will report to Entrata’s Director of Insurance. *This is a Full-Time Onsite Position*

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough insurance verification by reviewing policy information, claims history, and coverage details to ensure accuracy and validity.
  • Validate insurance eligibility, policy terms, and coverage limits for clients using various insurance portals, databases, and electronic verification systems.
  • Analyze insurance documents, including policies, endorsements, and riders, to identify any discrepancies or gaps in coverage and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as customer service and product, to resolve insurance-related issues, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance verification activities, including policy details, approvals, and rejections, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and report any potentially fraudulent or non-compliant activities during the verification process to protect the company's interests.
  • Stay updated on insurance industry trends, regulations, and changes in coverage requirements to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standardized insurance verification procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to enhance verification systems and tools, providing input on system improvements and participating in user acceptance testing.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members regarding insurance verification processes, policy interpretation, and problem resolution.

Qualifications :

  • Insurance license in your home state-or willing to get it within one month (P&C)
  • Proven experience in insurance verification, claims processing, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of insurance policies, terminologies, and procedures and data verification experience.
  • Proficient in using insurance portals, databases, and electronic verification systems to validate coverage and eligibility.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret insurance documents, identify discrepancies, and apply critical thinking to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines and company standards.
  • A Solid understanding of Insurance terminology and practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and insurance providers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
