We are looking for a Payroll Intern. The EP Payroll Contract and Labor Management Intern position is responsible for supporting the Payroll COE by understanding roles and functions of each area of Payroll by participating and assisting in each area and contributing to the goals of each area.

This will be a partial in office role if possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in the creation and maintenance of the contracts, profiles, rates, and rules in the Contract Management System.
• Assists in the creation and maintenance of the Excel templates for Hours-To-Gross rules testing decks.
• Assist in creating training materials with the CLM Subject Matter Experts for internal and external use.
• Assists in the creation, maintenance, and release of the EP Paymaster Book
• Assists in answering questions about contracts and pay rules for the company by managing AskContracts queue.
• Learn and understand basic functionalities of systems used to complete payroll setup (Internal Systems, Salesforce, Smart Applications)
• Research and analysis of payroll tables to update for pending ratifications.
• Learn and understand basic Payroll Onboarding Workflows / Procedures
• Assist in documenting workflows, policies and procedures (user guides / quick references) for the department.
• Define Payroll Contracts’ Payment Conditions which include documenting clear and concise action / decisions taken to complete payroll setups.
• Arrange Affiliation Setups in various payroll systems.
• Support department to ensure client set-ups and communication operate smoothly.
• Other department tasks and support as needed.
• Validate and identify training materials for duplication or redundancy for 60 classes.
• Go through training program and assessments and return feedback on 60 classes, to be rated by :
• Ease of use
• Are there other tools to leverage.
• Is the material relevant?
• Assist on updating current training materials to prep for new training upload of Articulate module when it passes Security and firewall testing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Current student pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or business-related fields

The hourly rate for this position is $17 / hr and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.
