At this time we are currently seeking a highly skilled Internal Product Management Manager for the Customer Data Hub team. This position will be responsible for ensuring that our internal Master Data Management processes, technology and its associated products are optimized to meet the needs of our company and are aligned with our strategic goals. They will be responsible for defining and managing the technology product roadmap and will work closely with cross-functional agile teams, including engineering, architecture, data governance, business operations, risk and project managers.
The Internal Product Management Manager plays a key role to:
  • Function as the owner and champion of continuous development of a product or group of internal technology products.
  • Act as the single point of contact and entry for strategic decisioning, priorities and scope moving in and out of one or more agile teams for assigned products.
  • Create and maintain the product roadmap and represents the vision in the program increment planning process.
  • Manage the product backlog creation, refinement and prioritization informed by data analytics and return on investment.
  • Define epics & compartmentalizes requirements. Work with product owners to establish acceptance criteria for each product release.
  • Define, monitor and analyze key product metrics to measure product success, product ROI and identify areas for improvement. Product ROI should consider revenue generation vs. operational efficiency vs. Tech Debt reduction and must include analytics to support the ROI.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, and project managers to ensure that product development is efficient, effective and aligned to SSDLC and Architecture standards.
  • Represent and ensure product vision and strategy are aligned with sponsors and stakeholders. Provide functional product vision and leadership across the technology product suite to identify opportunities for strategic alignment & synergy including:
    • Market research and data analysis to identify new opportunities and trends that can be leveraged to improve our internal technology products.
    • Collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to gather feedback and input on product requirements and use cases.
    • Managing the product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and ongoing refinement, and ensure that product capabilities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Develop and maintain product documentation, including product requirements, specifications, and user guides.
  • Manage, coach, and develop product owners and business analysts across multiple agile teams.
Technical Experience and Qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience in product management or similar, with a focus on internal technology products and at least several years in banking / financial services technology. Proven track record of successfully managing internal technology products and agile teams in a cross-functional environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of software and product development methodologies, including Scaled Agile, Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  • Inspirational leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team of product owners and analysts.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions and manage to budgets.
  • Passion for financial services and technology and a desire to stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations.
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree or equivalent preferred.
A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Location: This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
