Summary:

Mechanical Technician needed to perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and related equipment, with a strong focus on safety and team collaboration.

Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years in an industrial environment or equivalent military experience.
  • Proficiency in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience as an ironworker, millwright, or in facilities maintenance is preferred.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct repairs on overhead cranes and related equipment at customer sites.
  • Collaborate with technicians and project engineers for installations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Perform safety inspections following OSHA guidelines; complete preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Engage with customers on deficiencies noted during inspections; manage service documentation accurately.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed thoroughly including hours of service and service acknowledgments.
