About us

ENT Northwest is a medical clinic providing comprehensive ear, nose, and throat treatment to pediatric and adult patients in Salem, OR and the Willamette Valley.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Audiologist to join our team. Successful candidates will work with ENT physicians in the diagnosis and management of pediatric and adult patients with hearing disorders. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and immittance testing

- Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses

- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including fitting and programming hearing aids

- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss management strategies

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology research and technology

Skills:

- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques related to audiology

- Strong understanding of auditory physiology and anatomy

- Familiarity with medical terminology specific to audiology

- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using audiology equipment

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families

Requirements:

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program

- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist

- Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) preferred but not required
