Ensemble Performing Arts is Hiring a Part-time Acro Dance Teacher - Katy, TX Near Katy, TX

Job Posting: Acro Tumbling Teacher Opportunity at Ensemble Schools
Are you a passionate dance instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced Acro Tumbling teacher to inspire and nurture the next generation of students at Pointe of Grace Dance Studio. Our growing studio in Katy, Texas focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Our positive classrooms are staffed by amazing teachers who go beyond teaching dance technique to developing important life skills in students because Pointe of Grace Dance Studio is about More Than Just Great Dancing!®
Preference will be given to candidates with availability on Mondays from 5PM-8PM.
Position Highlights

  • Season Schedule: Summer Session is June 4th - August 8th; Regular Season runs August - May.
Responsibilities:
  • Instructing students in acrobatics techniques across various skill levels (Ages 5-18)
  • Strong background in tumbling and gymnastics required for this position.
  • Dance experience not required but a plus.
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs.
  • Choreographing routines for our biannual performances.
  • Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Extensive experience in acrobatics, with proficiency in teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels.
  • Strong choreography skills and the ability to create captivating routines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the art of teaching acrobatics
  • Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
  • Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
