What We Are Looking For

EnSafe Civil Engineers work on a wide range of engineering projects that foster creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. 

If you are the selected candidate for this position, your team will consist of a variety of senior-level engineers, project managers, and other junior engineers. You will be part of a technical team working across multiple offices to develop cost-effective, site-specific solutions for industrial and government-sector clients. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Participate in and coordinate various design and construction meetings with clients and subcontractors (this will also include pre-bid meetings)
• Plan, schedule, and conduct detailed phases of design work 
• Perform work in the following areas: grading, stormwater erosion, sediment controls, streets, utilities, sidewalks, and other site designs.
• Provide construction inspection support by performing field inspections, writing field reports, coordinating construction materials testing, and assisting Project Manager's in producing change orders and pay requests 
• Provide marketing/sales support, project and practice management, and client project involvement where appropriate. 

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Current EI
• Expertise with Civil 3D
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior work experience in site design
• Ability to travel regionally, as needed
