DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Fremont, California. The role involves providing crucial support for our continuous growth in the manufacturing industry, focusing on managing payroll duties and implementing HR strategies.
Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll duties to ensure accurate compensation processes
  • Utilize selected systems for recording employee activity and maintaining accurate records
  • Address employee relations and handle employee concerns promptly and efficiently
  • Conduct employee onboarding and exiting procedures, as well as manage employee reviews and engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategic HR plans and training policies
  • Handle workers compensation rules and handbook development
  • Manage the recruitment process diligently and effectively
  • Leverage proficiency in ADP WFN and Microsoft Excel to streamline payroll procedures and systems
  • Strategize for sites in multiple locations, ensuring appropriate payroll implementation
  • Handle employee relations effectively and professionally
  • Conduct employee evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Excel, and About Time
  • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and Benefit Functions
  • Experience with ADP - Payroll and Payroll Functions
  • Knowledge of Multi-state Payroll procedures
  • Familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certification or degree is a plus
  • Willingness to stay updated with new payroll laws and regulations
