Duties:
● Maintain and update the organization's website content in the Content Management System (CMS); Write and edit web content to align with the organization's web writing guidelines and establish a consistent, on-brand voice.
● Collaborate with the Web Team, including designers, developers, and content creators, to ensure all content meets established standards and addresses technical challenges in the content display.
● Collaborate with various individuals and departments across the organization to provide content guidelines, directional suggestions, and enforce editorial standards for consistency and accuracy across the organization's online presence, including third-party platforms managed by other departments.
● Establish and enforce web writing guidelines, structured content practices, web content writing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices, and section 508 accessibility guidelines.
● Manage Google Analytics statistics using GA4 and Google Tag Manager to gather and analyze website performance data.
● Write and maintain training materials related to content creation guidelines, working closely with internal stakeholders and departments to provide training and guidance, ensuring editorial standards are met.
● Cultivate and maintain ongoing collaborative relationships with Pratt Library departments in relation to web and online content; Manage and execute a schedule of regular planned content updates to align with institutional goals and industry standards.
● Provide assistance with other IT-related writing/editing needs and create content guidelines, while also supporting the training needs of other departments.
