Job Summary

• The primary function of this position is to operate reel to reel plating lines and their related process equipment in order to produce finished product according to standard operating procedures that meet customer specifications.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate reel to reel plating lines and related process equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
• Check equipment and supplies necessary for work to be done; audit plating line to ensure proper state of solutions, rinses, brushes, electrical and mechanical equipment, and anode baskets.
• Utilize system to turn on / off line, pumps, air, check amps and change part program.
• Make splices in materials as needed.
• Run samples, cut sample strips, and turn in to Quality for approval of production run.
• Complete dissolves, test pH & Baume, locate chemical data as needed, and work with Chemical Lab as needed.
• Perform changes including solutions, rinses, brushes, electrical & mechanical equipment, tooling, and install anode baskets as required.
• Complete & submit all necessary paperwork on production runs.
• Work with quality team on any Quality Issues, Corrective Actions, or Incident Reports and provide responses to data provided by quality team.
• Follow Non-Conformance / Containment procedure as required.
• Provide training to less experienced operators as required.
• Confer with other team members and management to resolve production problems as required.
• Follow all International Standards that apply to certification and QMS.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing, machine operating experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
