Enigma Labs is solving one of the longest-standing mysteries on the planet, the question of UFOs, now known as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP.) We are the first team of full-time professionals to build a dedicated data, community and sightings alert network for UAP. We are on a mission to expand the frontiers of collective knowledge through intrepid research and data science. Senior Consumer Product Manager

We’re looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Consumer Product Manager to help deliver on Enigma’s mission to become the trusted destination for UAP sightings. You’ll have the opportunity to work with every function in the company to ship experiences and features. This product role comes with a broad scope for the consumer app and focuses on the entire full product lifecycle - researching user experience, understanding the market, product development, measuring success, driving product growth, and using the product to catalyze a movement. We are looking for someone who has experience at and loves working at early stage startups, who is a confident, charismatic, and clear communicator, and who knows how to mobilize colleagues and get product shipped.

Responsibilities

• Must be located in NYC area. Employees employees in the office 4 days per week Monday - Friday. Those four days remain flexible to allow for any family or personal circumstances that come up
• Must be able to build rapport and trust with the leadership team, understand the mission and business goals, and distill it down into concrete steps the team can execute on
• Actively reassess and re-prioritize the immediate product roadmap to align with the company’s near term objectives. Clearly outline timelines and deliverables
• Be fluent in app user data and analytics. You have natural curiosity about what drives growth in the product, figures out what questions to ask, surface insights to leadership
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to find power users, learn how to deepen engagement with the majority of users and listen to their needs
• Collaborate with design, engineering, data, marketing, and operations to bring new features to market that drive value for users and the business
• Be an influential culture leader for the company. You can command a room, bring presence to meetings, and show energy and enthusiasm when in the office. We are looking for someone who has a natural sense of urgency and bias to action over talking, process, and status reports

Skills

• Minimum 3 years of consumer product management experience
• Track record of working closely with design and engineering to ship creative consumer experiences
• Experience working on at least one consumer mobile product with a sizeable user base
• Able to find, query, and interpret product usage and health analytics
• Comfortable working in an unstructured environment

Preferred

• 5 years of product management experience
• Experience with products that rely on user-generated content and multi-sided marketplaces
• You’ve worked on a consumer product that involves experiences in the physical world
• Ability to work closely with engineering to evaluate architectural trade-offs
• Combination of big company and startup work experience
