Engtal is a third-party recruitment firm, currently partnered with three construction companies that are looking for BIM Managers to join their team.
Both positions require prior experience either in Mechanical/HVAC work or in Heavy Civil Construction. Below is a general JD for both roles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and processes
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop BIM execution plans
- Manage the creation and maintenance of BIM models, including clash detection and coordination
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for BIM implementation
- Conduct regular quality control checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the development of project-specific templates, families, and libraries
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in BIM technology and software
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience working as a BIM Manager or similar role
- Proficiency in Revit, CAD, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, and other relevant software (Civil 3D)
- Strong understanding of BIM principles, processes, and workflows
- Knowledge of 2D animation and graphic design is a plus
- Familiarity with mechanical design principles is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
