    POSITION SUMMARY:
    This position will provide leadership and comprehensive support for specific initiatives under the Department of the Superintendent at the Roscoe Davidson Administration Building. The Grants Coordinator will execute and manage grants and reporting. The Grant Coordinator will report to the Superintendent. Collaboration with all District team members, including principals, teachers, and staff, to increase student achievement in Englewood Schools through meaningful grants. This position will work closely with the Business Services Department to ensure policies and procedures for all grants are followed.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    OVERSEE ENGLEWOOD SCHOOLS DISTRICT GRANTS AND REPORTING
    • Grant coordination and oversight will include, but is not limited to: Consolidated (Title I, II, III, and IV), EASI, McKinney Vento, EARSS, ELPA, Gifted Education, READ Act, State Library Grant, and Menstrual Hygiene Products Accessibility Grant.
    • Work with the Superintendent, Learning Services and principals to develop and implement the annual CDE Consolidated Application grant.
    • Work with the Executive Director of Budget & Finance and the Business Services team to accurately adhere to district purchasing practices.
    • Work closely with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) on grant applications, funding requirements, and all necessary reporting and communications.
    • Work with nonpublic schools as required by the Consolidated Grant application.
    • Assist in the coordination of grants that support elementary and secondary programs.
    • Prepare and coordinate evaluations of school programming for grant recipients under state and federal program requirements.
    • Provide grant assistance to school principals in order to foster clear understanding of the fiscal and programmatic requirements of state and federal grant programming, including interpretation of federal and state statutes and regulations in alignment with authorization practices. Provide guidance on allowable expenditures
    BUDGET AND/OR RESOURCE RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Review and process requisitions from schools for purchases from federal, state and private grants, ensuring the district is compliant with the Uniform Grant Guidance. This is an end-to-end process from requisition to receiving.
    • Submit grant revisions as needed throughout the year.
    • Coordinate and manage Comparability reporting.
    • Facilitate annual evaluation reporting for federal, state, and private grants.
    • Review and process monthly Request for Funds (RFF) for all grants with the support of the district accountant.
    • Prepare and input requisitions in Vision (Englewood Schools ERP)
    • Prepare or assist in preparing all applicable fiscal reports for sponsored programs and ensure timely submission.
    • Coordinates with key personnel at all levels of the District to support proper and timely expenditure of grant funds in compliance with applicable guidelines and budget deadlines.
    • Plan, organize, and coordinate the centralized accounting and financial reporting for the assigned grant portfolio, including preparing annual and project budgets, forecasting revenue, and estimating any carry-over of funds from one year to the next.
    • Maintain current documentation in the Shared Google Grant Drive.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Conduct supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to interview participation, training/development, assign and direct work, performance feedback, address complaints and resolve problems.
