Engineering Design Technologies is Hiring an Electrical Designer Near Marietta, GA

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is seeking an experienced and talented Electrical Designer to join our team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and drawings for various projects, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, and control systems. You will work closely with engineers and other design professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to contribute to the success of our growing company.
Responsibilities
  • Create detailed electrical designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Perform electrical load calculations and voltage drop calculations
  • Design and layout power distribution systems, lighting systems, and control systems
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines to ensure integration of electrical systems
  • Review and modify designs based on feedback from project team members
  • Prepare technical specifications and submittal documents
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Designer
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Knowledge of electrical design principles and codes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise designs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience with electrical design software and tools
