Job Description

Through the Training team, the Senior Manager, Training Programs will lead the development of learning and development strategies and training plans that drive ongoing capacity-building in the most critical knowledge and proficiencies that enable ENGIE Impact's full commercial partnership potential.

Role is a people leader, responsible for guiding and supporting development of professional skills and proficiencies of direct reports to thrive in roles and at Impact.

Learning and Development (L&D) Strategy

  • Develop Global L&D/Training Strategy for capacity building of ENGIE Impact's client-facing sales teams to maximize commercial potential with new and existing clients.
  • Derive and align Global L&D/Training Strategy from/with regional sector go-to-market plans and roles and responsibilities of sales stakeholders.
  • Lead initiative to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate annual Global Training Plan with SE team and other commercial and business partners that shows programs, timeline, stakeholders, outcomes and key performance indicators for the year's capacity-building efforts aligned to the SE team's four pillars:
    • Knowledge Management
    • Sales Excellence
    • Growth Levers
    • Linkage to ENGIE Group
  • Work collaboratively with, and as a training method subject matter expert to, SE Program Managers to optimize design of capacity building efforts to critical variables such as audience, key outcomes, urgency, scale of opportunity, etc.
  • Create management training to empower sales team leaders to support and reinforce training of their teams
  • Lead development of prioritized ad hoc training events in response to acute needs
  • Bring creative approaches to training that promote participation and adoption.
  • Possess strong ability to identify, forge and grow relationships with various ENGIE Impact stakeholders to maintain an updated understanding of the business, earn support of SE efforts and to ensure constant alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Develop and regularly report program progress against key performance indicators.

Leadership

  • Embody and help to create a culture aligned to ENGIE Impact's core values - trust, care, accountability, OneENGIE and Safety & Integrity - in leadership and management of SE Program Managers
  • Support ongoing individual development of SE Regional Program Manager professional skills, knowledge and proficiencies to be successful in their current and potential future roles through ENGIE Impact's Annual Individual Development Program.
  • Be a positive ambassador of SE throughout ENGIE.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Degree in Learning and Development-related discipline, energy, sustainability or other similar fields are preferred.
  • Formal training or certification (CPTM, CIT, CLDP) in Learning and Development-related field is required.
  • Leadership skills training and/or certification preferred.
  • Formal training in project and risk management - PMP (Project Management Professional) - certification a plus.
  • 7 years hands-on learning and development experience including assessment, development and deployment of L&D Strategy, Plans and Programs, preferably in a global enterprise company.
  • Experience leading teams, preferably responsible for L&D/training, to successfully deliver the full life-cycle of programs and results
  • Experience working with different stakeholder groups to deliver the full life cycle of a training program
  • Skilled in relationship development and navigation to inspire participation and program success.
  • Experience measuring and reporting program performance to support continuous improvement.

The pay range for this role is: $111,000-$166,000.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
