The Meadowglade is a rehabilitation center specializing in mental health and eating disorders and fosters an environment of restorative healing. Our individualized approach to therapy ranges from evidence-based treatment methods like EMDR psychotherapy to creative music and art therapies. - Join an outstanding, supportive team including other therapists, and your supervisor, the Clinical Director to make an impact in outpatient treatment. This team values knowledge-sharing and mentorship.
- Gain exposure to a variety of treatment modalities, including CBT, DBT and more.
- Focus on what you do best by taking on areasonable caseload, including individual and group sessions.You'll have flexibility in scheduling sessions.
- Take advantage of a broad array of therapies, work in an attractive facility in a convenient location and enjoy available snacks and coffee.
- Work with a supervisor who has an excellent reputation as a mentor and resource, and have the opportunity to grow your career here. We hire from within whenever possible.
- Licensed LMFT or LCSW, and registration with California BBS.
- A genuine desire to work with the adult population we serve.
- Understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for mental health disorders with co-occurring substance abuse issues and/or eating disorders.
- Computer proficiency is required; experience with documentation in KIPU is highly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and service orientation.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Solid organizational and prioritization abilities.
