Role: Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

*Pay is dependent upon experience.

*This position will work with the properties listed: Jlofts Apartments, The Row Houses at Hendrix Village, St. James Park, Lasley Historic Flats, Plazza at Centerstone, Metro Square, District on Oak, and various others.

Description / Responsibilities:

• Ensure the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound
• General knowledge and troubleshooting skills of – HVAC Plumbing Electrical Appliance Repair Customer Service
• Required to lift or handle 80-100lbs on a regular basis
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• EPA certification required
• Communicate progress with Maintenance Supervisor daily
• Prioritize and complete work orders
• Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor on make ready process
• Perform and complete make ready’s
• Responsible for making sure preventative maintenance deadlines are met as outlined by Regional Maintenance Supervisor and directed by Maintenance Supervisor
• Update inventory as needed
• Be on call as scheduled by Maintenance Supervisor
• Be an active participant in maintenance team Group Text
• This is a safety sensitive position
• Attend monthly conference call, quarterly team meeting in person and semiannual team training in person
• Backup for Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Porter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
