Summary:
The Analyst-Business Development’s key responsibilities include supporting the Business Development team and will be responsible for researching, analyzing, modeling future growth opportunities, and preparing presentation for management. As a member of the Business Development team, responsibilities will include identifying revenue enhancing opportunities for our NGL and Refined Products Assets.
EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities:
·Create detailed economic models to assess deals, including optimization options, synergy capture, and capital needs.
·Conduct Market analysis for potential targets including competitive behavior and alternative strategies.
·Conducts“duediligenceforpotentialmergersandacquisitions(M&A).
·Prepareanalysisandpresentationofbusinesscasesforproposedprojects to present to the Business Development team.
·Analyzestatisticsonfacilityusageandrevenuegenerationtoensureoptimalusageofterminalandpipelineassets.
·Support Business Development managing customer relationships.
·Identify newcustomerstoformstrategicpartnershipsandbusiness alliances.
·Maintaindetailedknowledgeofthecustomercontractstoassistthecustomerandoperationsinensuringadherenceto the terms.
·Support internal customers including engineering, operations, finance and accounting.
·Assistswithbudgetarydevelopmentandpreparationefforts.
·Overnighttravelmayberequired
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
·Bachelor’s degreein engineering,FinanceorBusinessAdministration
·Excellentinterpersonal,analytical,communication,andcomputerrelatedskills(MSWord,Excel&PowerPoint)including SAP, preferred.
·Theabilitytoplan,multi-taskandmanagetimeeffectively
Preferred Experience:
·Budgetpreparation&forecastinganalysis.
·Theabilitytodevelopvariousadhocmanagementreports.
·Strong Math Skills.
·Working Conditions:
·Theworkenvironmentcharacteristicsdescribedherearerepresentativeofthoseanemployeeencounterswhile performing the essential functions of this job.
·Usually,normalofficeworkingconditions.
·Mustbeabletoremaininastationaryposition50%ofthetimeduetoprolongedperiodsofsittingorstanding.
·Overnighttravelmayberequired
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant job related experience
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
