About us

Energy Task Force is a small business in Apopka, FL. We are professional, agile and our goal is to ETF will be the lowest cost provider of Pre-insulated piping systems to the construction trade. We will focus on long term profitable growth of the company through excellence in customer service and fiscally conservative management..

This role will manage all aspects of accounting for Energy Task Force/Tricon Piping Systems (the “Company”). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment in an essential, hands-on role that ensures the accounting function is rock solid. You will assume responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and month-end close process. You will identify and establish proper controls and drive operational and systematic improvements across the function. These may include automation, continuous process improvement, and creating tools that provide better financial vision for the Executive Team and the Board.

  • Oversees all financial functions including invoicing, A/P, G/L, and job costing.
  • Responsible for all financial activities including specified entries/requirements for monthly close out process; including but not limited to accruals, revenue/expense analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process payroll and ensure both employee hours and job hours are properly accounted for and recorded in the general ledger, job costing and accounting systems.
  • Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in financial operations and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyze this financial data and trends to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Assist with tax returns or reviews/audits as required.
  • Collaborate with management and project managers to help develop, assess and analyze job costing components such as inventory levels, WIP, project profitability and more.
  • Undertake financial statement review and audits, if necessary.
  • Facilitate and lead critical vendor relations such as insurance and benefits. In regard to insurance, work with carriers to provide any requested COIs to any customers.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations of Company licenses and certifications needed to operate.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills:

· Strong understanding of accounting and manufacturing operating systems (preferably QuickBooks online) and processes.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills as the role will interact with all employees and is critical in the flow of information.

· Proactive, highly motivated and flexible.

· Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time, whether working independently or as part of a team.

· Highly organized and attention to detail.

· Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Experience working with multiple companies/divisions a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
