Job Description:

The Warehouse Inventory Handling Assistant at Energy Innovations is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate management of inventory handling, ensuring that materials and products are available when needed. This role will collaborate with various departments and specifically the Warehouse & Purchasing Assistant (PA) to ensure products are available on time as well as maintain inventory accuracy, implement best practices, and support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
• Receive materials shipments in accordance with established procedures.
• Collaborate with labeling, storing, and managing the inventory for the production area.
• Prepare daily pick and pack for production areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the PA to ensure timely replenishment of materials to meet production requirements.
• Other assorted tasks in support of purchasing, inventory management, and product handling.
• Collaborate with the team responsible to Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and regular stock audits.
• Work closely with production, and quality control teams to ensure accurate inventory counts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Review incoming inventory for damage.
• Inventory process development, including providing feedback on current policies that should be developed.
• Review incoming inventory to ensure quantities match our PO’s.
• Collaborate with the fabrication planning team to anticipate inventory needs based on production schedules and customer orders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes, reduce carrying costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory control or materials management within a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices and principles.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
