Energy Completion Services LLC is Hiring a Rigger (Midland, TX) Near Lubbock, TX

Energy Completion Services, LLC (ECS) provides onshore wireline pressure control equipment for the oil & gas industry. ECS is centrally located, supplying the safest and most dependable equipment needed. As the nation’s largest supplier of hydraulic latch assemblies (HLAs), as well as our wireline equipment offering, the company has worked with the top oil & gas operators across nearly every shale basin.

We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as a Rigger who will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling the rigging, lifting, and moving activities of wireline pressure control equipment and materials to and from job sites. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, Company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform rigging and lifting activities, including the setup, inspection, and maintenance of rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, and lifting beams.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of rigging equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation.
  • Clean, maintain, diagnose, and perform on-site repairs to tools and equipment; report any defects or issues to leadership.
  • Assist with all operations at well sites and in the shop.
  • May operate forklift and manlift.
  • May drive Company vehicles as requested by leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, including equipment inspections, maintenance logs, and lifting plans. Ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain open communication with operations, leadership, and customers.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
  • Adherence to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and HSE regulations, Company safety guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), desired but not required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in rigging operations experience.
  • Must be willing to travel out of state and able to work extended hours as job demands.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license.
  • Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards.

Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of rigging equipment and techniques, including the use of slings, shackles, and lifting beams.
  • Willingness to work in remote locations.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to lead and direct operations.
  • Ability to solve problems and function in a high stress environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to safely operate equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain awareness and recognize safety hazards.
  • Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed.
  • Ability to work in outdoor elements, unpleasant odors, exposure to fumes, and extreme weather conditions – heat, cold, etc.
  • Physical stamina required for position and the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
