Job Requirements:

Strong writing and content creation skills are crucial, with the capability to produce clear, engaging content for a variety of platforms and audiences. This includes experience in drafting press releases, announcements, newsletters, and social media posts.

• Supports outreach, training, and event planning activities on-site.
• Meets with government clients to plan and coordinate communication team efforts.
• Plans and organizes events.
• Provides logistical support.
• Creates promotional and educational materials.
• Provides updates to websites.
• The candidate should have the ability to assist in the development and execution of communication strategies, with the ability to understand and apply strategic messaging in governmental or similar settings.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to support projects, manage timelines effectively, and coordinate with different stakeholders to assist in the execution of communication plans.

Education:

• Must possess bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in the Washington, DC area supporting environmental, energy, and sustainability programs with the Federal government context,
