As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be on-site, front-facing, at our client locations to service and stock delivered products, scan and download product orders, unload and load material as required and troubleshoot with customers.
Essential Functions
- Regular servicing and stocking at customer plant locations
- Our customer base is manufacturers (OEM), Maintenance repair Shops (MRO), Etc.
- Entering customer orders, and expediting as needed to meet customer demand
- Build a strong working relationship with customer contacts within plant location
- Improve customer relations by being pro-active and consistently involved in meeting the customer’s requirements
- Negotiates product placement to ensure high volume positioning
- Ensures products are delivered on time and monitor inventory levels to avoid product shortages
- Friendly, and ability to work well with customers and fellow associates
- Strong work ethic and ability to work without direct supervision
- Prospect for new business / Cold calls
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills
- Ability to lift 10lbs. to 60lbs. daily
- Possess good analytic and organizational abilities
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to operate independently and in a team environment
