Sanitation Technician

Job Description:

Endorphin Farms Inc is looking for a motivated Sanitation Technician to join our team in Saint Augustine, FL. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks with attention to detail and discretion. This position involves working in a manufacturing environment where exposure to high temperatures and loud noise is required.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare workstations for production staff arrival or for other shifts other than the current scheduled shift.
• Break down, sanitize, and re-assemble food production and processing equipment
• Follow instructions on a daily basis to meet the sanitation requirements for various departments.
• Clean and maintain assigned work areas.
• Ensure that all safety equipment is in working order and that work areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Report any equipment or task-related issues to supervisor or management.
• Maintain work area and equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Follow all health and safety standards established by the company or the company’s quality policy.
• Waste disposal.
• Prep facility for arrival of cooks and machine operators.
• Use time management to complete all tasks required with minimal supervision.

Required Skills:
·High School Diploma or GED preferred.
·Ability to read and understand work instructions, production schedules, and production procedures.
·Ability to follow directions from supervisors and other staff members.
·Ability to follow quality standards set by ourselves or the quality department.
·Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, with good interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 44 per week
