Our dynamic endodontic practice is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of demonstrating top-notch endodontic care!

About Us: Apopka Endodontics is a specialty dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We take pride in creating a welcoming environment for all our patients and aim to provide care with compassion and respect.

Highlights of Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
  • Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
  • Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
  • Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
  • Clean and set up treatment rooms
  • Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
  • Order and organize dental supplies
  • Helping at the front desk when needed – scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, answering phone calls, loading chart information from referring practices, etc.

This is a full-time Dental Assistant position with a schedule of Monday through Friday.

Qualifications


Dental Assistant Qualifications:

  • Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certification form an accredited Florida program
  • Radiology certification – FL
  • One or more years dental assisting experience – preferably with some endodontics experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
