EMHS is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join our Facility Services team. This position is 7:00am-3:00pm, 40 hours/week, primarily Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, Holidays, and on-call.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read and comprehend material, write and follow written and oral instructions.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.
• Must be able to assume on-call responsibilities.
• Must possess a valid Drivers License.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs maintenance procedures as directed by the Plant Manager.
• Makes required repairs, modifications, and alterations to facility equipment.
• Assist the Plant Manager in preventative maintenance programs and maintain records as assigned.
• Complete all priority work orders as soon as possible.
• Performs grounds maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, raking, trimming hedges, snow removal, cleaning of debris, etc.
• Acts as a secondary courier to perform trips to the blood bank, pick up/delivery of equipment, supplies, building materials, mail, and other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
