The Cummings School of Nursing & Health Sciences at Endicott College is seeking adjunct faculty for our spring 2022 semester to teach the laboratory and didactic content of Comprehensive Health Assessment and Diagnostic Decision-making for FNP students. We are interested in hiring dynamic faculty who have a strong interest in educational excellence, and innovation to prepare nurse practitioners of the future. The mission of the School of Nursing is to prepare graduates to practice in a complex and ever-changing healthcare environment. Our Family Nurse Practitioner program currently serves over 50 students. In addition to our FNP program, we offer a Master of Science program with three other concentration options as well as post-master certificate programs, a PhD in Nursing program, a DNP program and an undergraduate program in nursing with three options (traditional, accelerated, and RN to BSN). Our nursing faculty includes outstanding educators and researchers in nursing.

Responsibilities include:

* Teach the laboratory and classroom components of the Comprehensive Health Assessment and Diagnostic Decision-Making course in the FNP program in accordance with professional standards and accreditation requirements of the college and the facility.

* Hold office hours as needed.

* Hold weekly sessions, half in the classroom and skills lab, half online

* Evaluate teaching/learning activities

* Collaborate with FNP program chair and FNP faculty

* Participate in adjunct faculty orientation activities

Qualifications:

* Masters in Nursing required.

* Must hold unencumbered RN and NP licensure in Massachusetts

* Clinical experience as an NP

* Prior teaching experience in a nursing program desired but not required

* Demonstrated ability to relate to adult learners

* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
