Responsibilities
Building Engineer: 
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the hospital’s building and equipment. 
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues. 
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. 
  • Manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems to ensure optimal performance. 
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and assess the building for potential safety hazards 
  • Prepare reports and documents related to building maintenance and repairs 
Inventory Manager: 
  • Manage and maintain the hospital’s inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals. 
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages. 
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize storage. 
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports for management. 
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in facility management, building engineering, or inventory control. 
  • Strong technical skills with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance. 
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Passion for animal care and commitment to supporting a veterinary environment.
