Encore is looking to add a Contract Biller Specialist to our Pawtucket, RI office!

Encore is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial-spirited organization seeking to add talent to our accounting team with the addition of an Contract Billing Extraordinaire. In this role, you will have primary responsibility for executing the payables-process start to finish. This includes:

Construction Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly AIA Billing G702/G703
• Invoice customers on a monthly basis using intercompany software
• Manage 80 projects
• Act as a liaison between the customer and the project manager
• Create and maintain all construction projects in SAGE including change orders
• Read contracts to extract billing information with extensive detail and line items
• Review and prepare waivers, conditional, unconditional and final
• Responsible for the collection of unpaid invoices
• Coordinate with construction managers to make any adjustments to invoices, such as change orders and retention adjustments
• Assist in the collection and verification of Certificate of Insurance for each project
• Audit project completion to bill and collect on retainage

Construction Billing Specialist Qualifications:

• Experience with AIA billing
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and reporting requirements
• Ability to work as an effective team member
• Strong systems skills (including MS Excel)
