What you'll do:

  • Administer medications to patients as delegated by a licensed nurse. Delegated medications are limited to regular scheduled medications, including controlled substances, by oral, topical, nasal, otic, optic, and rectal routes and following the nurse’s assessment of the resident’s need for the medication and at the direction of the nurse, as-needed medications for bowel care or over-the-counter analgesics. The nurse shall evaluate the effect of the medication and document findings in the resident’s medical record.
  • Actively assist nursing staff with answering resident requests and providing direct care when needed.

Who are you:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR certified, Food handlers’ certificate
  • One (1) year experience, preferred.
  • Senior living or geriatric experience preferred
