Job Description:

As a Solar Installer, you will be our highly skilled laborer that is integrally involved with the entire process of helping customers go solar. You will be working on a crew with 3-4 other people installing and maintaining solar PV systems on customer homes. Installers regularly spend 70% - 90% of their working day on residential rooftops and support the Crew Lead and Electrician to ensure the successful installation of a photovoltaic (PV) solar system.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain high levels of installation quality, installing equipment as if the home was yours.
• Installing all components of a residential solar system, including racking and solar panels.
• Answer any questions that customers may have during install.
• Properly using all issued personal protective equipment.
• Troubleshooting and servicing existing solar systems.
• Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and presentable.

Skills/Qualifications:

• No prior experience necessary!
• Experience in general construction or roof work preferred.
• Previous solar experience is preferred but not required.
• Possession of valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
