Job description

Landscape Technician, Part-Time

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Efficient routing of assigned daily work.
  • Occasionally drives company vehicle to customer location.
  • Ensure individual service / production goals are met.
  • Provide quality service to customers.
  • Maintains positive morale among personnel and actively promotes teamwork.
  • Completes daily jobs assigned.
  • Works with manager to identify ways to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures that vehicle is loaded efficiently for assigned work load.
  • Manage inventory on vehicle, both product & equipment.
  • Regularly inspect trucks & equipment for operation, and cleanliness.
  • Proper use and care of equipment provided by EnCam Landscaping.
  • Attends team meetings.
  • Interacts with customers in a positive manner.
  • Complies with policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Must have reliable transportation both to and from work.

Skillset Needed :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong customer-service focus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with front line staff and their supervisors.
  • Organized / Time management.
  • Understanding and ability to read a map.
  • Basic Mathematical skills to calculate figures.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instruction. (written, oral, diagram, or schedule form)
  • Practical knowledge of service & safety standards.
  • Preventative equipment maintenance.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk.

Push and pull equipment.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving.
  • Ability to works outdoors. Subject to weather conditions which may include extreme cold, extreme heat or wet conditions.

Hourly Pay : $15, $2 performance-based raise after 60 days
