If ensuring safe and efficient execution of maintenance and construction programs, along with the management of capital projects sounds intriguing to you, apply today! What You Will Do: Provide leadership and oversight for project management of operating and capital projects. Involvement with project development from the budget proposal stage through contract administration, construction management, and cost control and reporting Coordinate and manage inspection services required to administer contractor performance for all varieties of construction. Interpretation and application of Enbridge engineering standards, State and Federal regulations, industry codes, and industry recommend practices Participate and or lead in design reviews, project planning and execution, program management, and work sequencing and alignment Provide Cost and Schedule estimates to various partners during development process Accountable to create and manage purchase orders for contractors and materials Development of scopes-of-work, schedules, The hydro-test plans, and other project specific documents Identifies opportunities and has keen awareness of interrelationships with other partners Supervise and/or assist during emergency response activities Participate in Region safety program by attending and participating in Region and group safety meetings and assisting in station and construction site audits Perform day-to-day Region operations activities; assist in Region Management duties as required, complete various documentation including permits, ensure regulatory compliance, and review Company standards and procedures Assist Region employees and other internal departments with procedural, technical, and compliance issues Assist U.S. Projects personnel with large capital projects that impact the Region Bid out work scopes to various contracts, Select contractor for given scope, and manage contractor execution to closure Review and recommend procedural changes to pipeline operations Provide 24-hour emergency and operations call-out support Who You Are: Required: Related university degree and seven‐plus years of experience OR ten‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience. Strong project management and contract administration skills related to budget coordination, management, contractor oversight and inspection and landowner liaison. Ability to comprehend and apply technical/engineering concepts, including material standards, regulatory codes and standards. Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and computer skills. Must have shown leadership skills and ability to prioritize workloads. Preferred: An excellent attitude towards and knowledge of corporate safety policies and procedures. Mechanical / electrical aptitude and administrative ability related pipeline experience. Working Conditions Area of responsibility: Bemidji Area of Midwest Region Mixed office and field environment with frequent travel along pipeline route and to construction sites. Overnight Work / training related travel estimated 30% Indoor and outdoor work in areas where pipeline maintenance is conducted. Office environment with frequent field trips to construction sites and stations along the line Overnight travel and extended days of up to 16 hours as the job dictates throughout the year May be required to support work or emergency response activities during off hours Flex Work Arrangements: Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
