EnableU Residential Habilitation is Hiring a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional Near Eagle, ID

The Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional's duties include but are not limited to:

1. Perform his/her work in accordance with the currently approved method of practice set forth by the State of Idaho, Department of Health and Welfare rules and regulations regarding Program Coordinators (QIDP's), for Residential Habilitation Agencies

2. Shall conduct at least one monthly face to face contact with each of the residential habilitation Participants of Residential Habilitation of Idaho.

3. Shall provide Residential Habilitation of Idaho written program coordination notes of face-to face contacts with the Participant within five days of each visit

6. Complete 6 month and 12-month status reviews within the time limit allowed by the state

7. Write behavioral intervention plans

8. Shall participate during the Participant's Individual Support Planning process and develop the Habilitation Implementation Plans in a timely manner

9. Shall coordinate the Participants needs with the Plan Developer or the Targeted Service Coordinator as needed

10. Attend ISP's for new and existing participants

11. Train staff on participants specific needs and their PIPS

12. Will revise and update the Participant's Habilitation Plan and PIP's as

14. Assure all documentation for each participant is done correctly, accurately and within correct time limits

15. Coordinate, oversee and attend doctor appointments and visits

16. Crisis management / manage behaviors

17. Coordinate Participant schedules

18. Scheduling of staff and ensure all hours are filled efficiently

19. Will participate in in-service/training program

20. Will have current CPR/1st Aid

21. Maintain high standards of ethical conduct

22. Attend a minimum of 8 hours ongoing training annually

23. Complete or obtain an age-appropriate functional assessment for participants served within 30 days of initiation of service.

24. Other duties and responsibilities specified by administrator or program manager

Requirements:

1. Have at least one (1) year of experience professionally supervised with the population served; (If so, check the box and attach the resume indicating when and where the experience was gained)

2. Hold a degree in one of the following: licensed Doctor of Medicine or osteopathy, licensed registered nurse, certified occupational therapist or occupational therapist assistant, certified physical therapist, certified physical therapist assistant or a graduate of an approved two-year college-level program, psychologist with a master's level degree from an accredited school program, social worker with a bachelor's degree from an accredited or approved program, speech-language pathologist or audiologist, professional recreation staff person with a bachelor's degree in recreation or in a specialty area such as art, dance, music, or physical therapies, registered professional dietician

OR

3. Human services professional with a bachelor's degree in a human services field

OR

4. At least bachelor’s degree from a college or university (master and doctorate degrees are also

acceptable) and has received academic credit for a major or minor coursework concentration in a human services field, as defined above. If the applicant has a minor or additional coursework in human services, please identify 18 credits through qualifications worksheet.

5. Experience writing and implementing behavior and skill training program plans

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
