Public Health Dentist Job Description

The Public Health Geriatric Dentist will provide oral health care services to older adults in a public health setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older adults and a commitment to public health.

Dentist Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oral health care services to older adults, including preventive care, restorative care, and emergency care
  • Conduct oral health screenings and assessments
  • Develop and implement oral health promotion and prevention programs
  • Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide comprehensive care to older adults
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest oral health research and best practices

Dentist Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
  • At least 2 years of experience working with older adults
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
