EMS of Virginia is seeking a licensed or licensed-eligible (LPC or LCSW) professional to join our team in a part-time capacity as a Clinical Supervisor. This position is primarily remote, but the candidate must live in driving distance of our office in North Chesterfield as in-person needs may arise.

JOB TITLE: Clinical Supervisor
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:Clinical Supervisor or Director
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This is a professional position with 3 levels based on experience and achievement. The incumbent is responsible for the direct oversight and supervision of a team of Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) who work with children and adults. The incumbent performs tasks to provide mental health services to clients of EMS of Virginia. These services may be provided in an outpatient clinic or in the client’s home or the community. Services include: Intensive In-home Counseling, Mental Health Skill Building, Community Crisis Stabilization, Mobile Crisis Response, and other services as designed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Masters Degree in field that qualifies for supervision for licensure as an LPC or LCSW. Candidate must be licensed or licensed eligible to provide clinical services by the State of Virginia, with experience providing mental health services to children, families, and adults. Candidates should have experience with staff supervision, program compliance, and program development, with the ability to grow within a leadership role.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Ability to set strategic objectives for mid-size social service organization; working knowledge of human services system, roles of human services personnel, and relevant community resources; ability to screen, hire, manage, and evaluate staff; ability to conduct and facilitate meetings; knowledge of the principles and techniques of counseling services to youth, families, and adults with mental illness; ability to maintain effective working relationships with other social services providers, service purchasers, and clients; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Employees must pass a State Police Criminal Record Check, Department of Social Services Record and FBI Checks. Employees are also required to complete a Tuberculosis Screening Test upon employment and every year thereafter. Employees shall be provided trainings in behavior management, CPR, and First Aid upon employment.
