Job Summary

Drive for Empty The Nest. We Empty furniture and household items for clients, then deliver back to store and drivers and movers unload truck at warehouse. Ride to and from job sites in company vehicle. Experience necessary. Pay based on amount of experience. You must be able to drive and load/unload. You must be able to drive the truck and move furniture/boxes so lifting heavy items is essential.

The Drivers work with movers and packers to implement efficient process for moving furniture and items and help in loading and unloading the truck. Must be able to work Mon-Fri.

Must have drivers license and reliable transportation to work.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Ensure the highest quality services to our customers.

2. Drive and help move at job site and warehouse, including picking up, loading, unloading.

3. Load and unload truck

4. Helping movers move, packers pack, stacking furniture, boxes and items. (tetris style)

6. Communicate well.

7. Assist packers in moving items or boxes at the client's site.

8. Able to work weekdays until job completion.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Must be reliable

3. Respond positively to direction from management

4. Observe safety and security procedures.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

1. Regularly required to stand and climb stairs

2. Occasionally required to wear OSHA approved mask and follow safety protocols.

3. Regularly perform heavy physical activity (approximately 50 pounds).

4. Exposure to adverse conditions.

Job Type: Full time or Part time

Salary: $18-$20 dependent on amount of experience. Willing to pay more for supervisory experience too.
